Dizngoff St. was the place to be back in the 1950’s and 1960’s. Obviously, times have changes, but it is still quite a popular street, located right in the heart of Tel Aviv.

One band even named itself after the street – watch the “Dizengoff Command Band”

Nowadays, you can find plenty of really nice pubs around the street. Try Mate on 226, Ilka on 146, which appeals more to the younger crowd, or Zina – named after wife of Meir Dizengoff, first mayor of Tel Aviv – on 116.

>> As much as we all love hummus, Tel Aviv has a lot more than that to offer in terms of food and drinks – that’s what we are here for. >> Feel free to ask us more specific questions via the Ask a Local app.
