In Florentine, check out Kaymak Cafe on 49 Levinsky St. (לוינסקי). Great Indian-style food during the day. Cool bar at night.
In the heart of the city, check out Par Derriere on 4 King George St. (קינג ג’ורג’), a romantic italian courtyard behind a big red door, or nearby Deli on 47 Allenby St. (אלנבי). It’s a sandwich place in front, but ask to go to the bar in the back and it’s a great cocktail speakeasy and dance club.
Behind HaKarmel Market, check out Bar Edouard, on 12 HaKarmel St. (הכרמל). Great food, great snacks, very much a local joint.
North Dizengoff has Jasper. You’d never know it was there from the front, but go back into the mall arcade to find this great cocktail bar.
Stereotype/Tailor Made/Cookies and Cream on 99 Allenby St. (אלנבי), is hidden behind a music store. It opens up to an outdoor seating area, a dance club and an indoor cocktail bar.
Imperial Cocktail Bar On 66 HaYarkon St. (הירקון) is an unassuming bar with incredible cocktails just off the Tel Aviv beach promenade.
