Let’s say you’re in town with your parents, and they really want to pay for dinner, or you want to give your significant other a special treat. If that’s the case here are some fancier restaurants you have to check out but would maybe be more hesitant on your own.

In Neve Tzedek, check out Dallal. It’s Italian, delicious and very fancy. If you’re only in the mood for coffee or dessert, they have a great confectionary section around the corner.

Abraxas North on Lilinblum St. has been recommended by foodies, chefs and locals alike. Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel ate here when they were in town for one night only. Definitely worth any wait.

Shtsupak, located in the north of Tel Aviv close to the Port, is a bit more traditional in the salads and breads brought to your table before you even look at a menu. Tons of food and one of the best seafood restaurants.

Finally, Toto is an absolutely delicious restaurant in a business park where all the local lawyers and financial execs come for lunch. It’s just behind the Tel Aviv Museum of Art if you want to do both.

>> As much as we all love hummus, Tel Aviv has a lot more than that to offer in terms of food and drinks – that’s what we are here for. >> Feel free to ask us more specific questions via the Ask a Local app.
