Recently opened, Taizu is probably the best Asian place in Tel Aviv, located on 23 Menachem Begin Rd. (בגין), not too far from Rothschild Blvd. A meal at this place is quite a unique experience, and could work really well for an anniversary or just a romantic night out. It is relatively expensive, though.
Two other a bit more affordable options are Hanoi on 18 Lilinblum St. (לילינבלום), which does great Vietnamese food, and The Bun on 18 Hillel HaZaken St. (הלל הזקן), which is a really good street food restaurant, pretty close to HaKarmel market.
