Taquería on 28 Levontin St. (לבונטין) is a laid back diner with absolutely yummy food at affordable prices. But you really go there for their heavenly tequila margaritas. You’re welcome.
On 122 Ben Yehuda St. (בן יהודה), you can find Mex & Co, which is much more like a proper restaurant, and opened less than a year ago, marked the beginning of the golden age of Mexican food in Tel Aviv.
One last option you should check out if you’re in the Florentine area, is Mezcal, on 2 Vital St. (ויטל), which has more of a pub feel to it, still with great food. Better for beer lovers. And while you’re there, you have to try their cactus salad!
>> As much as we all love hummus, Tel Aviv has a lot more than that to offer in terms of food and drinks – that’s what we are here for. >> Feel free to ask us more specific questions via the Ask a Local app.
