Jaffa Port has changed a lot during the last couple of years, and it’s definitely worth visiting, along with the flea market. It’s located naturally by the beach, right after to Old City of Jaffa, if you’re coming from the direction of Tel Aviv. You can take any bus going to Jaffa and then walk down Yehuda HaYamit St. (יהודה הימית) to get there (lines 10 and 46 get the closest to there), or just walk along the beach till you find it.

Where to go then? Certainly pop by the Jaffa Port Market for a unique culinary experience – eat there or buy stuff to take with you. Also, Nalaga’at Centre lets you experience, just for a couple of hours, how blind and deaf people go through their lives. There’s plenty of different activities there – a theatre, a café, tours, and more.

One last great location to go to is the Container – a bar/restaurant (depends on what you’re in the mood for, really) with delicious food and crafted cocktails, art exhibitions, and the best part – free live music concerts every night. And all this, when you’re literally meters away from the sea. Basically, it doesn’t get much better than this.

>> Tel Aviv is known for its vibrant night life – but in no way does it end there. With dozens of art galleries, concerts, theatre, dance and opera shows, and countless other activities, you can be sure to find just what you are looking for. >> Feel free to ask us more specific questions via the Ask a Local app.
